I am an accomplished humanitarian worker with great bias in child protection in emergency (CPiE) and disaster risk reduction and response (DRR). I hold a six (5) years progressive work experience in CPiE and DRR from Save the Children international and currently Finn Church Aid. My strong holds are in child protection coordination, case management (Best interest procedures) community-based child protection systems strengthening, management of child friendly spaces, Early childhood development, disaster risk assessment, planning and response, communications with communities through dialogues, school based child protection, community resource mobilization and empowering children to influence their own development.

I have great knowledge, skills, and experience in working with disaster affected populations. I have supervised and monitored a big number of children over the years, in refugee settlements, in hosting communities and other categories of children. I have implemented several projects in the emergency response in Kamwenge District (Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement), Kyegegwa (Kyaka II Refugee Settlement and Yumbe (Bidibidi Refugee Settlement) including private donors and key bilateral donors such as UNICEF, Alight, UNHCR, ECHO and ECW. With this, I have the capacity to respond to various donor accountability and reporting requirements. I am a Trainer of Trainers for Reporting and Referral using the case management process and referral pathways.
